Using the Coblator device, we perform tonsil and adenoid surgery in about 15 minutes in out-patient surgery at Gilmore Memorial Regional Hospital. This new technique uses a plasma wand to perform the surgery, which delivers far less energy to the soft tissues of the throat. The overall result, is far less post-operative pain, less need for narcotics, and less time off from school and work for Mom and Dad.
